The death of The Sun's Page 3 will deny aspiring models the career of their dreams according to a Falmouth glamour girl. Brandy Brewer, who has appeared on the iconic daily feature as well as in other newspapers and magazines, now makes her living as a sports presenter. She says the decision to axe Page 3 has left her upset - and fearful for new models trying to break into the industry. She said: "It is upsetting news - and I am especially upset for the new generation of glamour models who will never get the chance to appear on Page 3. "The paper says it is keeping Page 3 going online - but it is not the same thing. unless it is
in the newspaper. "Page 3 was the whole reason I wanted to be a glamour model, and it is sad to see it go. "You still have the Daily Star, but any aspiring glamour girl will always dream of appearing on Page 3 of The Sun, it is the one you all aim for. "Brandy does not have a lot of sympathy for the people behind the 'No More Page 3' campaign. She said: "I find it really sad that Angela Towers and her band of angry women have managed to get rid of it. "I know they say they are trying to fight sexism, but glamour modelling is not something that is going to go away. "From the Suffragettes onwards it is amazing to see how far women have come, but I don't think that this is another step in the right direction. "We should be building each other up and not attacking each other, and people should not automatically think that being beautiful makes you a bad person. "Most of the girls I have worked with in modelling are very intelligent, many use it to pay for their studies. "I have moved on now and work as a sports presenter on Sports Tonight Live, so this does not affect me directly. "I wouldn't have the career I have now though without the boost Page 3 gave me, and it is sad other girls will not get that chance now.
